Sensory spaces

Sensory spaces that take textile materials as the guiding thread of the artistic creation. Using materials sourced from local textile industries - fabrics, carpets, threads, cardboard and reel plastics - we transform the space into a habitable landscape, rich in textures, colours and shapes.

Children discover contrasts and qualities, building a first sensory grammar through tactile encounters with materials and textures that are strikingly varied and evocative. At the same time, countless actions and relationships emerge between the children, the space and the installations: hiding, crossing, pulling, tying, wrapping themselves up…

The proposal draws on contemporary practices that treat textile as both a sculptural material and a relational space, offering a living landscape that invites you to inhabit it, move through it and transform it.

A sensory space that invites children to explore light as a living material: to touch it, shape it and bring it to life through the movement of the body. A calm, ever-changing universe where each gesture creates reflections, transparencies and unexpected shapes. Light, shadow and colour become elements of play and discovery.

The space is organised into distinct areas that offer moments of free exploration, adapted to the rhythm and interests of each child. An immersive, contemplative environment that invites calm, attention and curiosity.

Drawing on ongoing research into the potential of light as a pedagogical resource and of art as a language, we design proposals that combine sensory experience, learning and a strong aesthetic dimension.

A play installation inspired by the languages of contemporary art, transforming the space into a labyrinthine architecture built from cardboard. Children move through, cross and inhabit this landscape with their whole body, discovering corners, paths and materials hidden among the undulating forms that invite all kinds of play. The proposal reinterprets the work El laberinto y el gran pozo by Michelangelo Pistoletto, creating an experience where play and art meet.

The labyrinth is shaped by openings and windows of varied geometric forms that connect its different routes, encouraging interaction between children: catching each other's eye, appearing, disappearing, hiding and finding one another again. As they play, the space transforms: out of the initial order, new forms emerge, giving life to a landscape in constant change - one created by the children themselves.

We design tailor-made play spaces for shared public places, in dialogue with the architecture, the context and the needs of each location. These proposals grow out of a desire to reclaim urban spaces as habitable places for childhood, offering free, carefully designed and accessible play environments that invite people to pause, explore and share.

The installations, often large in scale, are conceived as transformable play landscapes that come to life through the children's actions - open, flexible and inclusive spaces designed for the different stages of early childhood.

One of our most emblematic projects is La Real ens Mou, in Plaça Reial in Barcelona, a space we have been involved with for years. The initiative set out to transform the square into a welcoming place for families, opening up new ways to inhabit it through play, the body and connection.
